mamagoose Report post Posted June 7, 2014 What weights or thicknesses of leather are used in the making of a Steele Trail Boss and similar lightweight saddles? steelesaddle.com/product-category/trail-boss/ The skirting leather does not appear to me to be of the heavier weight normally used for western saddles, and the seat and bar leather over the padding appears very pliable (dry). Can neoprene be glued to the leather for padding? What type of glue won't mess up the neoprene? Thanks!
