Aulus Report post Posted July 13, 2010 Hi Folks, this is one of my latest projects, a Sax Sheath for an Alamanni about the year 600 p.C. The patterns for the carvings are from the Sutton Hoo Ship burial and the one on the mouth of the sheath was createt by me for the warrior. So it´s his figure. The customer is a taxidermist who works the whole day with this stuff. @alb: The Applicator was a damped sponge and the colour is antique finish (mahagonay).
