  1. Thank you for your help, but unfortunately, the problems is not solved yet. Everything seems to bee going fine, until i put fabrik on the machine. The upper thread is making loops, but the underthread refuses to go through them. The only thing that I have changed is the new thread on the bobbin, is a 40 instead of a 20. I didn't change anything else. Any ideas? Thank you, Nele.
  2. Hello all, I recently purchased a adler leather sewing machine. I was very happy with it, and everything was going fine. I have now for the first time rethreaded the bobbin, and now the needle is picking up the bobbin thread, but after that, nothing happens. The needle is putting the upper thread where it should be, but the bobbin thread doesn't follow. So it doesn't fasten the stiches, i can just pull the upper thread back out. Anyone has an idea how to fix this? I'm not the greatest technician, but I'm quite sure I didn't change anything. Thank you, Nele.
  3. Hi, I just discovered this forum, because I wanted to buy a beautiful adler 30, but when I got to the seller, there seemed some 'minor' problems with the machine. So now I'm looking for advice or a mechanics manual. I'm a bit in a hurry, as I have not bought the machine yet, but if it really is a minor problem, I want to notify him as quikly as possible. So, now about the problem The machine looks absolutely fine, but the needle is - when completely down - about three milimeters from the hole in the arm it should be going through. The foot is turning beautifully around the hole, so nothhing's wrong there, except that it doesn't seems to take the leather. Someone an idea whether it is fixeable, or had this problem theirselves? Thank you very much, Nele.
