Hi folks.
I've done a bit of leatherwork when I was a kid, and just recently got the urge again. To be honest, I got a new gun and was too stingy to buy a holster, so I decided to make my own. This has led me to a few more projects, and rekindled my interest in the craft. I think I'd like to try to make some items to sell to people other than my friends and family.
What are you guys making that sells well? I can see myself making holsters, knife sheaths, and Cowboy Action Shooting stuff. I work as a ranch hand, so making/ repairing tack seems logical. But what other things, especially small inexpensive items, are you folks producing?
Please feel free to respond to me as though I were a simple-minded child. I seem to learn faster that way. And, I have a girlfriend, so I'm used to it.
