  1. That's good to know, we haven't run it that much but the machine sure sounds good and sews like a dream. We hand oiled some of the parts as per the owners manual and all seems fine.
  2. Thanks for the info. We did put the right oil in the machine. Now it looks like all is well. At slow speeds its starting to drip. I think it will all be fine. It may be a steady stream at fast speeds but that may be a while before we try that.
  3. We just bought a used singer 241 and have a question. We changed the oil in the machine and cleaned it up a bit. We read in the manual that after they sit awhile to hand oil parts, till the oil gets started in the machine. We did that. We then ran the machine a little and have yet to see the oil going thru the little peak in window. My question is, how long should it take to get the oil moving and is there anything to check before this happens?
