Another Newbie Looking For Help - South Bend/chicago Area

So, yeah. I signed up to this website several years ago, wanting to learn leather working. A short while later, I moved to China, which made it kind of hard to find supplies and tools and the like hehe. I'm back in the states again, and would really like to find someone who might be able to show me the ropes.

I currently live in the South Bend/Mishawaka area in Indiana, but I travel over to Chicago a couple of times a month. If anyone out there wouldn't mind helping a newbie get started, it would be greatly appreciated. I don't have much in the way of cash to pay for lessons, but I could probably scrounge something together.
