Waterproofing Waterproofing Antique Finish

Hello, I'm a newbie and this is my first post. I need some help.

I have been using Tandy's Antique Finish to color some dog collars and wrist bands, then finishing them off with Tandy's super shene (2 coats). The problem I have is the wrist bands get wet the stain bleeds onto my skin and I don't know what to completely waterproof these. I haven't giving out the dog collars to my friends yet, because I'm afaird the finish will bleed out into the dog's coat when it get when.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
