  1. Darren, I think I have the bobbin thread in correctly. I have watched the action as I hand turn and the shuttle beak just misses hooking the needle thread. It is only by about the width of the thread and this is what is causing the missed pickup, but I don't know what to do to fix it.
  2. Thank you, I have that manual too. I think everything is set up correctly on the needle side of things. The problem is that I am unsure of where the bobbin thread needs to be in order to be picked up by the needle thread. I have pulled it through the throat, left it loose in the bobbin case with no success.
  3. I have a Chinese machine that is the same version as the Consew & Seiko TF-6. I have threaded the bobbin according to the diagram, but I cannot get the upper thread to pick up the bobbin thread. I'm a newbie so this probably a simple thing I am overlooking. Also, will this machine take heavier thread, 92 and above? David
  4. I have a motor available and may have another for sale soon. The current is 1/2 hp. I will have info on the other soon. I have photos and am in Maryland for shipping.
