Last Workshop

this are the results of the last workshop with rene berends

we are learning a lot of interesting and simple but very effectiv techniques to connecting leather together

the next workshop is wetforming making a leathersheath for a knife and a leatherman

and on the end of this month is a very interested workshop called floral carving

Hi Johann,

It must be quite an experience to be able to learn from Rene like that. It's great that there are more classes planned. I'd like to invite you to add the schedule of these classes to the calendar here on Leatherworker if you'd like. Maybe there are other people in your part of the world that would be able to attend.

Muchen, eh?

Ich been ien Augsberger!! Or at least I was for a few years.... I lived in Augberg from 1989 to 1992 and I LOVED Bavaria!! I loved Muchen and Kaltenberg! Kaltenberg was my first Ren Fest!

I love the picture you have in your post. It shows some very nice effects. I am going to make a few of those items for the Boy Scout Leather Merit Badge I am teaching later this month.

Do you have any other example of things you learned in your class that I might share with the Scouts?

bavaria is rally nice but nice places are all over the world....

this was a workshop for leather braiding

Nice stuff Johann.

Does anyone of a good book that covers this kind of work? I have just had a quick run through my bookshelf and don't have any reference at all.
