justin22885 Report post Posted August 18, 2015 i looking to take the time and effort to learn how to make one of these shoes well, turnshoes or moccasins, which one is the more reliable, more versatile type of design that can be made for the largest variety of footwear?.. the turn shoe seems a bit easier to make, but uses thinner, softer leather that may have issue holding shape... the moccasin seems to have a bit more work involved into making it, but since its not turned inside out you can use thicker, more rigid leathers, including a much thicker sole... for either design ill be adding outsoles so which do you think is the more worthy design to focus my attention on? and why?
