A few questions...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Ive just joined leatherworker.net recently and have been doing alot of reading before I post on the forum.

I am very new to leatherworking and am interested in holster making. Concealed carry types.

I saw one of BROOMSTICKholsters holsters (beautiful work by the way) and he uses the same clips I have been looking for for the inside the waist band holsters. If you wouldnt mind sharing...or anyone who might know, where might I get those?

Also I am working with Vernon at Weaver leather, I am thankfully fortunate enough to live about an hour or so from them.

I am looking at an Adler 205-400. He feels like the machine is overkill for sewing holsters but it is what I need because of the large thread (346) I will be using. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Eric

I saw your post and had to respond. I myself will be looking to buy a leather sewing machine and you have about the same questions I will have. There are to many choices out there and you have (in my opinion after joining and readind the post here on LW) we are at the right place to asked these questions. Everyone here is willing to help and share there experiances. Good luck!
