I am trying to get started in leather works. I want to do everything from leather bible covers to leather purses to saddles. I am trying to find a sewing machine suitable for what I need. It is my understanding that I am going to need two sewing machines. A lightweight machine and a heavy duty machine. I found a used Adler 120 - 8A machine for $2,250.00 and I found a Singer 20U for $300.00. Would either of these machines be something I would need and, if so, are the prices good? Any help would
