1st Blog alert; 1st Blog alert...

I find my self in the same boat as always. I prepare ad infinitum (sp), spending way too much time with the details of each project. design, drawings, templates, dimensions, treatments, prototypes, assembling tools needed and on, and on; resulting in many projects at the same stage - unfinished. Time to delivery for paid projects has been ~6 to 9 months. I won't even mention how long I've "fine tuned" some projects I want (and in some cases need) for myself. I've tried ordering the projects and putting ones I'm not working on away to focus but... find my self in the same boat as always...

I truly enjoy working with leather; piecing the puzzles of each project and contrary to the above, finishing them.

Advise for someone looking to keep it simple?
