I started working with leather in the late 90s done some of the Tandy classes till the store I went to for class was closed. I earned my apprentice cert and was doing the next level up when they closed the doors. I learned what I could with any books and some web sites I could find at the time. learned a lot by self tout methods. I am no MASTER by any means. I do enjoy working with leather, the smells of leather (s), the feel of some leathers is a vary exciting turn on as my finger tips touch and work with it. I have a vary active creativity and not enough time to make the projects I want to do and learn new skills doing them. However I do what I can. I hope to learn more and help other here in this site. As I have seen many of the postings and photos here I will do more learning then helping. As I get my projects done I will post the Photos, Thank you to all that read this and view my works !

Happy holidays to you!

And thank you for your intro. I can relate to much what you posted.

I too like learning, practicing what I learned, then when asked to teach another or others how I made a leathercraft project,

I am honored to do so. My satisfaction is seeing leathercraft students pleased with a completed project they made

with their own hands, and from scratch!

I look forward to teaching another class at some point in 2012,

The leathercraft instruction books are an excellent source to guide and or supoort what one may have learned.

I always keep them close by!

success to you!
