Seamless Leather Ring

This is a seamless leather ring about 1 inch. I got this idea from Peter Main who posted his on his FB page. A real interesting story behind to. A good little puzzle that I had fun with.

Flat piece of leather. Soak it in water for about 30mins. After soaking I then cut a 1 inch diameter circle. Inside that circle I cut a 1/2 inch circle (A doughnut) in other words.

Then I put the circle over a tapered rod like a pool cue and pushed it down till it stopped and could not go anymore. I then used a plastic zip tie to hold down the bottom most edge of the leather circle and waited for it to dry.

After drying I then dressed up the leather.
