When I first transferred the design I ended up with a 25" diameter circle. Too much leather so I reduced the size to 12" . Are you going to attach the wrist grips etc that go on the back. Regards, TapTapTap Hi TapTapTap, Thanks for your comments, I started that targe in a medieval festival in France, the goal is really to make a targe. The design is on 25'' diameter leather circle. I plan to glue the project, using some antique bone glue,on a piece of oak. The back side will be cover by antelope skin and the whole will be nailled by wrought iron nails.
