Members OdinUK Posted September 12, 2011 Report I wet formed the leather over a mold that I made from a kind of plaster called Herculite 2. There is a tutorial that explains the principles of wet forming. See: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19782 In short, you soak the leather in hot water, and stretch it over the mold, work the leather over the surface with a modelling tool while you dry the detail with a hair dryer or heat gun (set to low), Start in the centre and work out. As you stretch the leather tack it around the edge of the mold on some wood. The tutorial should get you started. PM me if you have any specific questions. Quote
