Members Skidder Posted February 20, 2012 Report It's a demo piece on a drum. I'm doing different sections in different styles. Once I get the acoustics/tone figured out with my brother (very goo drummer), then a more precise drum will be covered using various styles. In other words, it will probably be thrown away. Quote
Members WinterBear Posted February 21, 2012 Report Aw. But it's so pretty, too pretty to throw away. Maybe you could cut around it, echoing its outline a bit and leaving it a bit of a border, and stitch it to something? Quote
Members Skidder Posted February 21, 2012 Report Thank you very much. The nice thing about working with leather is being able to do it more than once and hopefully learning/improving as you go along. I can't remember who said it, but there's a good quote, "If I ever think I built the perfect saddle, I'll quit. At that point I'm either a liar or a fool." Quote
