This looks very well thougt out . I am one who advoids any thing that will catch the string when sewing . I always wanted to do a IV stand type set up on the front cornor of the bench to lift and hold those projects that flop over like saddle bags . I have given some thought to a roll around stand for the extras but I suppose that would just end up tipping over. I told my wood guy think : Hall of the mountain king when making mine . I wanted the two inch Grand pas rocking chair type seat being a old large man . Thanks for showing me this I enjoyed greatly and Ill bet this works just fine giving you many enjoyable hours of sewing . Well done !

Thank you. I agree about the string catching though I've had little trouble with this- maybe because of spool placement? I do like the idea of support for a larger item as you mentioned. I just figured I would use my workbench if needed extra support lol. If I would've waited a few weeks my neighbors threw out a couple of still nice dining chairs, which may well have changed my whole design... But I do love my horse- it works great & made it myself so I'm quite happy! Wonder how'd I stitch without it?! Am looking forward to seeing yours as well. Thanks for the compliment & thanks for looking
