I did case it. the funky one was with very bad leather in a bag of scrap I bought at Hobby Lobby. The swivel knife could barely cut into it. The second, row of flowers, was on scrap I bought from eBay. Definitely better quality. Both are in 6/7 ounce weight area. I recently got some pieces of outstanding leather from a professional saddle maker and it is awesome. Just haven't made enough time to work with it yet. I also upgraded all my tools so I hope to get more pix soon.
