Here is when I got given my Grandads stock saddle it was in a shed in an old chaff bag so after quite a few washes with my own saddle soap you can see the final result I've removed the counterlining and the tree of the saddle is hand carved out of iron bark one of the hardest woods we have in Australia without the counterlining the saddle is still close to 40lbs its now on the wall as a conversation piece but if I relined and mounted it you can still ride in it.
