  1. Any time I tilt my 1541 back to inspect the underside of the machine, I have a loose part that slides toward the back of the machine and interferes with raising the presser foot. The part is loose so I can use a small screwdriver or other similar tool to push it back into the hole in the casting, at which point I can once again lift the presser foot. The photo shows the part, at end of red arrow. Any idea what that part is and how to fix this? I’m wondering if anything is even supposed to be in that hole in the casting.
