Pfaff 545 Needle jamming on foot going forward

Hello, I am struggling to diagnose our Pfaff machine. After a jam and a broken needle, we have been having trouble with the machine hitting the foot with the needle going forward. I started going down the timing route, but the needle lines up perfectly when running it in reverse. Any insights would be great.
