Hello
I recently got a Campbell Randall lock stitch machine with no cabinet or motor. I’m trying to decide the best way to get it set up and usable. I’ve talked with the folks at Campbell and they sell a complete package of cabinet and motor. I don’t know for sure if the machine I have is in working condition, from what I can tell being as inexperienced as I am it looks to be in serviceable condition. I’m hesitant to invest the money in purchasing the cabinet as its more than I paid for the machine not knowing if it’s a working machine. I’m thinking about buying a motor and building a table for it but I’ve so far been unable to find information about what motor would work for this machine or how to best go about building the gear reducing drive if that’s necessary. I’d appreciate hearing anyone’s opinion regarding this. Thanks
