Hi. Thanks! with older electric motors usually it’s possible to reverse polarity and the motor will run backwards. Anyone see any problems with having a polarity switch?

Hi. I just purchased a commercial sewing machine it is an Aisin AD3310. I got a crazy question for you. Is it possible to sew in “reverse” on this machine? I thought in order to lock stitch you have to. If you look at the picture of my machine, is it missing a lever to engage “reverse?” If so, can I use a reverse polarity switch to reverse? Or can I get a part from a Toyota machine? any thoughts would help! thanks!!

Does anyone know how to reverse stitch? On the Toyota? I have an Aisin that is basically the same machine and can’t figure out how to reverse stitch
