  1. Thanks for the help everyone. I got it threaded correctly now and it's sewing alright, just need to get my tensions perfect and I think I'll be good. I had wondered if the aftermarket slot length was the issue the whole time, I'm just going to file the feet when/if I need to and not worry about what the dial numbers say. Excited to get this machine up and running!
  2. I can get the Needle and the Feed Dog Needle Slot aligned perfectly, Needle enters in the center at the beginning of the stroke and leaves from the center at the end of the stroke. The only issue is the needle hitting the top of the presser foot. If I reduce the stitch length, it's fine. The issue just happens when i set the stitch length to 4 (maximum on the dial).
  3. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out if I can adjust where the needle on this machine lands (fore & aft). Currently, when I have the stitch length set to the maximum, the needle hits the back of the presser feet I have (see first image below). I removed the Needle Bar & Presser Foot Bar - both are straight. The needle is new. Are the 2 lower screws (below the tensioner) in the 2nd image used to adjust the feed location? I can't find anything online regarding this issue. Last option is just to file the presser foot slots to be longer.... not the worst, just would rather repair/adjust if possible. The presser feet are not original and it seems hard to find originals online (just lots of options claiming to be compatible)
