  1. Yes, If I loosened the screws that attach the rod to the bottom bar and I can twist the horizontal bar that connects the rod to the feed dogs and it moves as it should. The rod on the right is not rotating like the one on the left. That’s why I’m thinking it’s some connection, or possibly a bushing on the main shaft. If I tighten the screw at the top of the rod to the shaft, it binds up and the shaft doesn’t move. I never could get the stitch length numbers on the dial to line up right, it seemed like that rod needed to go in more.
  2. It does appear to be completely opposite of yours. The machine was sewing for several years and then it was transported to another location and now I can’t get it to sew. I’m trying to see one in motion same angle as mine to try and see what’s different. I followed the instructions in the service manual and loosened the screws, removed the rod, and put it all back trying to push rod all the way in, still no movement. Not sure of tightness of screw to lengthen the stitch.
  3. I can’t get the feed dogs to move front to back on my Singer 107w1. If someone can send me a video it might help. It seems as though one arm is rotating but not the other. Any help is appreciated. I have attached a video of my machine. Trying to see what it is supposed to be doing. Thanks IMG_7860.mov
