  1. Thank you . I am ok with the spit by the way.
  2. Great eye. I messed up a little here. I skived the edges of the yellow middle layers at a very sharp angle, and didn't use enough glue. So, they were splitting a little after stitching. Then I filled that with some extra glue hoping they would stick now, but they didn't. Next time, I will pay more attention to the skiving angle. I am struggling to sharpen my French style 12mm skiver. Once I figure it out, I guess I will practice some more.
  3. Ok, so this is how it looks like in the end. Much better than before. Thanks guys 👍
  4. Thanks for the input guys. Here's me latest project. Sanded the edges upto 1000 grit. Shall I apply Tokonole now?
  5. Thanks for taking time to respond. I am on my next project, will definitely apply these techniques.
  6. Thanks, no paint just Tokonole and slicking. Thanks, I did this in my next iteration. Does it look better? Thanks, I kinda agree, it really shows it was handmade. Thanks for your feedback, I tried the edge paint in the second version. Next I will try to put some elbow grease in the edge. It really takes a lot of time :).
  7. Please critique this card holder I made. My first one using non-scrap leather.
