I am looking to get snaps engraved. Today I went to an engraver and he tried it and it came out very nice, but he was concerned that it might rust because it was plated. He told me to leave it face down in saltwater for a day or two to test it. I haven't tried it yet, but has anyone ever tried to have snaps engraved? I have the line 20 snaps from Tandy. I did check the net for some solid stainless steel snaps and I found some just in case the line 20 do rust. Kandi
