  1. Madmax22, it fits between the holster and your belt. This is the most comfortable way to carry I have found. You forget it is even there. I thred the belt through the holster and the side belt loop, so there is no sag and you don't have to have your belt supertight. The draw is smooth and no snag. The only draw back would be retention. When I need that, hiking camping or anything that might jostle the gun loose, I wear a G-Code retention holster. AC
  2. Thanks, it's a personal prefference, but you need to make sure the safety can't be reached, I carry with seven in the clip and one in the chamber. Draw, flip and fire........ AC
  3. Here is my latest attempt at a CC Holster. It is a very comfortable design, and holds the weapon close and tight yet easy to draw. Can be worn strong side or cross draw. AC
  4. Thanks Outrider, The slots were a problem, should have cut them after sewing, also does anyone make a 3/8" wide 2" or 1 3/4" bag punch? That would make the holes cleaner. I have seen a 1/4" one. Is 3/8" too wide of a cut? The tab snap works great. The holster is lined and I think that is the reason the tab curles over a bit. The gun did not go into the holster as deep as it should have, as I didn't adjust the size of the holster. Thanks again. AC
  5. This is my first attempt at a form fitting pancake holster, from an Outrider pattern. It is rough, but I learned most of the techniques, just need to hone quality a bit. I also lined the holster. AC
  6. Rick, I would enjoy that, I'll try to get by this week. Lew
  7. Thanks for the warm welcome, been hanging out over at CAS-City, great bunch of people, thought I'd expand my horizons a little. I am starting a new project, "Hoppy inspired gunbelt" this week. Will post as I progress... AC
  8. Hi, I am from Arizona and have been into leather for 7 months now and boy am I hooked. I like all kinds of projects, but concentrate on old west and modern holsters(just learning modern types). Am a member of SASS and have not shot CAS yet as I still need an 1897 Shotgun. Soon. Here is some of my work... AC
