I am new to this site.

I have a pair of Quoddy Tracker Boots made from Chromepak leather. They fit OK, however, I would like them to be a bit more snug. I plan to wear them barefoot, so using a thicker sock is not an option. Can I soak them and then wear them to dry? Will this cause the Chromepak leather to shrink a bit? If not, how can I shrink the leather a bit?
