  7. Hey people. Looked at a Singer centennial, 1957?, matt black finish with motor. Very smoothe operating. Has a long bullet type bobbin with a skinny spool. Will it sew leather (upholstery grade) ok? Model #ak 709149. Has a round top wooden case. Machine has a tag that says 100 years, 1857-1957. Any help would be appreciated. Guy wants $15 for it. Thanks, Patchman

  10. You guys have helped me a lot. Thanks. I'm looking for a Singer 3115 to sew patches. I have a 29-4 that I just can't get adjusted. No one in my area (central Mississippi) wil even look at it. I'm new at sewing and thought it would be fun. I can't get the 29-4 working long enough to do anything. It has become a real pain. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks, Patchman
  11. Help, Found this machine today. Looks like a 5 on a scale of 1-10. Need info about it and what's it worth. They are asking $500. I think thats too high. Hasn't run in probably 5 years. Any help will be appreciated. Thanx, Patchman
