Hey people. Looked at a Singer centennial, 1957?, matt black finish with motor. Very smoothe operating. Has a long bullet type bobbin with a skinny spool. Will it sew leather (upholstery grade) ok? Model #ak 709149. Has a round top wooden case. Machine has a tag that says 100 years, 1857-1957. Any help would be appreciated. Guy wants $15 for it. Thanks, Patchman

You guys have helped me a lot. Thanks. I'm looking for a Singer 3115 to sew patches. I have a 29-4 that I just can't get adjusted. No one in my area (central Mississippi) wil even look at it. I'm new at sewing and thought it would be fun. I can't get the 29-4 working long enough to do anything. It has become a real pain. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks, Patchman

Help, Found this machine today. Looks like a 5 on a scale of 1-10. Need info about it and what's it worth. They are asking $500. I think thats too high. Hasn't run in probably 5 years. Any help will be appreciated. Thanx, Patchman

Thanx for the input. I heard what you said. I am a nubie to sewing period. Have been advised against the Artisan 3000. Looking more towards the Consew206-RB5. Working a trade. I have a Union Special bagger Model 80700C. Just trying to trade for something I can use.

Hi, Good to be on the thread with you guys and gals. I'm new at everything. Just learning to sew. I do sew on patches for bikers, Finish belts from Tandy. I'm a Tandy distributor down here in Pearl,Ms. I currently have a Reliable 2000-u33 and a Singer29-4treddle patch machine. I bought it to work shows but find it to be too heavy to haul around. Would like to sell it and get a Boss or a Cub. Manual sewing works better for me. Anyhow, looking to learn from you guys. Love the forum. Patchman

Excellent condition. I want a Huberto Cub or a Tippmann Boss. Everthing I do on the road needs to be manually operated. 29-k to heavy to transpor for the show circuit. Completely reworked, Paid $800. would like to get as close to that as possible. PM me if interested. Patchman
