  1. Just to let everyone know, I ordered some belt clips and thumb break stiffeners and Rob had them to me pretty much instantly. Good job, and very fast shipping. Thanks Rob,
  2. Thank you for the details. But now my wife will hate you. I just bought two guns and want to make holsters for them. Now, I have another style holster to make and have to buy a gun for it. I'm thinking a shiny Ruger SR9. Didn't know you put the stiffener on before the wet molding. I wondered how that was done. So, I assume when tooled, the stiffener is tooled, sew into place, and THEN the holster is wet molded? And for me, part of my confusion came because I kept thinking the bottom back snap was really a snap instead of a decorative, but solid, structural mounting point. Very good job. Again, thank you. BTW, nobody mentioned it but, CONGRATS on the baby! There goes your gun money.
  3. I think it's beautiful and I look forward to the day I can make something that nice for my kids. And yes, I'm also interested in the mounting system just because it looks so damn cool.
  4. That certainly helped me understand the term. Thanks. Now, to get Florida back to an open carry state.
  5. That is a gorgeous rig. I'm planning to do something very similar for both of my sons and their wives eventually.
  6. Thanks for that input. Gives me something to shoot for eventually. I don't have much leather experience but I do own a couple airbrushes and compressors that I have never used. Looks like I'll have to learn how to plug them in. Again, thanks.
  7. Well now, I'm starting to design a guitar strap and was wondering about a finish. I plan to try this concoction if I can find a local source for the beeswax and see how it works. Sounds about perfect.
  8. That is some most excellent work. On the POW-MIA, did you brush the white, flow it, or airbrush? Though, for the life of me I don't see how you could have airbrushed it.
  9. Nice work. Love the flame thing. I can totally see that migrating to other works.
  10. I think this is very nice. Understated, yet with a touch of flair. Though, I don't see peg holes.
  11. Thank you. Look forward to learning from some talented people.

  12. welcome to the site
