I just bought a juki 562 and I have never used this type of machine. I threaded it by the book and the bobbin is all properly threaded. But it just goes up and down and the material does not move forward. What do I need to do? Help??

i just bought a juki 562 and I dont know how to get it to move and sew forward it just goes up and down

It is probably the stitch length adjustment that is put on zero. Push the button and turn the wheel and see what happens!
