  1. HI Ray, I know a few makers of historical stuff, some a lot more expensive than others. Tod makes some wonderful stuff http://www.todsstuff.co.uk/knives-military/rondel-daggers-military-knives.htm but may be more than your customer wants to pay. Owen Bush, who replied to you on BB is a top notch maker too. A little more basic would be Rod Matless of interknife, http://www.interknife.co.uk/ Pauls Binns is another maker of reenactment weapons.
  2. I use one of these on my desk for smaller projects, though I have done large costrels with it. I have been thinking about extending the jaws somehow. Its really good in the it swivels on a ball koint so you can position the work in any axis.
  3. I know its my first and I am diving in a bit but I did today and thought I would show it. Only been carving for a little while. unfortunately the antiquing did not go well at all. Still critique gratefully received
