hey thanks guys for the info. Sorry it took me a couple days to get back to my computer. I should be able to figure it out now, I hope. Well thanks again. And in responce to one question I have B.G.s encycopeda. And it does show some longer knots but they all work out to a four bight knot I am trying to figure out how to make a long 6 or 8 bight over two under two type knot.

hello guys first time posting anything so bear with me. I have been braiding rawhide for quite awhile and have gotten farly competent with most knots but am looking for instructions on how to tie the foundation knot for a long pinnapple knot. I for some reason cant figure out how to expand the turns to make a longer knot. I have B.G.s book and Gail Houghts bosal 2 and romel 1. She has some info on longer knots but the info for how to tie foundation knot is in a different book of hers. If some one could just explain how to add turns to the foundation to increase the length of the knot i would sure be greatfull. thanks again.
