  1. Thank you very much! Just what I was looking for.
  2. I've tried but I keep getting hits for the 15-91 machine instead which is completely different. Will keep looking! Thanks.
  3. Just wanted to ask whether anyone knows where I can find a manual for this model or something similar. Also, I'm intending to work mostly with garment leather. I've had a hands-on with it today, and it ploughed through 4 layers of thick upholstery leather like butter. I want to know what the limits are for this particular machine and what else I should be looking out for. Thank you!
  4. I'm mostly looking at dealing with garment leather, to sew up some jackets, pants or gloves. It looks as though, I'm going to have to find a decent sewing machine too. Thanks for warm welcome everyone~
  5. Hello everyone! I've been thinking of making my own leather items and the great Google brought me here, haha. This place seems to be bursting at the seams with information, and I'm still trying to sieve through all of it. I'm mainly on the look out for good leather suppliers that ship internationally. We don't have the luxury here to visit a leather store and have a look at it ourselves. I've been reading some horror stories here, so I'm a little wary. Then again, the only way to find out is to dive in.
  6. I'm thinking of working with garment leather (probably lambskin) to make small clothing items for myself. Most of them come between 1oz to 2oz. I don't have a sewing machine at the moment, so I'm currently intending to hand sew all of it. I'll be getting the Hand Stitching Kit from Tandy's just to get started, but I'm worried it can only be used for thicker leathers. Will it still work for thinner ones? Is there anything in particular I need to look out for when working with thinner leathers? The last thing I want to do is have a tool (unintentionally) rip through the leather.
