I think you nailed it, plus its pretty worn. A little adjustment and it works as it should. Will be ordering a new belt as well

Hi All, New here and just found a practically new Pfaff 545. Came with a Rex 550W servo motor. Everything works great, except when I turn the motor speed down on the unit it will not spin the motor. Pedal is flat out and nothing. When I turn the speed up to about halfway on the dial works fine, but then it takes a lot more work to feather it for slower speed, otherwise it flies along way to fast for my abilities. Havent played with the pedal/motor connections, thought I would ask here first. Thanks!
