      Try to use strap leather or that which comes from the butt area. This is the strongest part of the hide and belt makers use this part for belts.

    Hi everyone. i'm a leather craftsman from Mombasa, Kenya (East Africa). I started leather works in November of 2010. i was thrilled to find a forum with so many experienced leatherworkers. In Kenya, there are very few leather workers who are this accessible. So i'm really looking forward to learn and possiblly teach everythng leather.
