  1. I've attached pics below of two photo albums I've done. The Mike/Andrea one I did for my wedding and was very pleased with. The other (not yet assembled) is for some friends. This is my 1st time using the water-based products. I colored the roses/leaves with eco flo dye, then 2 coats of satin sheen and let dry overnight. I then used an "old type" antique stain (before water based were on the market) and it seems to have either bled through the water based resist, or removed some of the green color (as there are lighter - not darker - spots on the leaves now. I only leave the stain on for 30 seconds or so before wiping. I've used this technique for years with the solvent based stuff and never had any problems. Is the old style stain solvent based? And if so, does it penetrate super sheen after drying for 24 hours?
