  1. Floyd thank you for the reply. In can't believe nobody that sells the unit lists the dimensions. Thanks again more worried about the width thaan height.
  2. I am short on room. What size is the table with the u cutout for a Cowboy 3200? Thank you TJSmith
  3. Go to knifedogs.com and then forums . Find sheaths and click the sticky rawhide sheath tutorial. This is the info I used mostly for the sheath. Don,t get it to wet.It does shrink.Use rawhide to stitch with and use it wet. That way it’ll shrink also. I used artificial sinew and it didn’t. Lotta trial and error. this was my first one to
  4. Rawhide over a 8-9 0z core. My knife needed a old time sheath. What do you think?Take care.TJ Smith
  5. Thanks for the replies. I may have reversed the names on the beveler but I have been using it the same way as George hurst. The only thing i see is I am not leaning the tool far enough over. Thanks again. I'll do some and take a pic. TJ
  6. When beveling a cut line my bevel tool tends to kick back against the cut line . I align my tool with the heel in the cut, and tap with my hammer. The tool compresses the leather on the ,say right side of the cut, but also kicks back against the left side. this destroys the smooth curve of the cut line. What to do? TJ
  7. Got the urge to make a Nesmuke knife. This sheath is made from 7-8 oz veg tanned leather with a Elk skin overlay. The design is burned into the Elk skin with sinew like stitching. Take care TJ
  8. I know i'm new here but I have made a lot of knife sheaths. Rivets or welt?? I use the welt mostley, unless the rivets are for decoration. On your sheath they kinda match the knife, so good job. On the knife clasp I put mine closer to the knife guard so the knife can't bounce up and down. Just makes a tighter fit.looks good. TJ
