Thanks for the reply. Sorry I'm very lazy & shortened the name it's a Trenza Patria braid and I first saw it in Enrique Capones book, there is actually a couple of brilliant hatbands posted on here as well

Hi, this is my 1st post. I saw this braid & had to have a go.

Hi I've recently started braiding, bought some books and some kangeroo lace and am having great fun especially when I notice 3/4s of the way through something that I made a mistake & have to undo it. My question is how do you terminate a 12 strand rectangular braid it all went well, for a first attempt, till I found I couldn't stop. I'm sure it's a simple fix but for the life of me I can't figure it out. many thanks for the help
