I have several panels of leather that i'm putting on a trunk I built. It was modeled after an old Saratoga trunk for women. The original trick had thin embossed sheet metal on it so I instead made it with embossed leather. The leather is too thick around its boarders to fit under the other parts. (3-4oz) how can I shave the leather down evenly around the edges with a 1" boarder? I appreciate any ideas
