Sheath for my newest knife

When you say conveyor belting what grade?surface?and synthetic material, as I have access to a lot of conveyor belting of all shapes and qualities.

I have been asked to make a zippo case that fits the zippo and does not come off. I have made these cases before but his time I have been asked to decorate the case the design is pretty intricate(Indian chief's head) as I know the leather will stretch WHAT DO I DO FIRST mold or carve? The leather that I am going to be using is Veg tanned,1.6 mm thick and will be dyed and sheened on completion I will also be hand stitching the joint. Any advice is welcome as I only have 3 days left to do this in. Many thanks Rod
