Hi everyone,
Writing from Boston here~! I am starting to purchase tools to dive into leather crafting! I have been wanting to learn leather work for a while now and decided to finally take the plunge. It's an exciting time but also a very confusing process - lol. I've been reading, and watching a lot of the internet and have come up with a list of tools that I feel will help me get started for making simple wallets. I would appreciate any feedback and judgements on whether there is anything on my shop / wish list that may not be suitable for the type of work I want to do. That is, small wallets using 4-5oz veg-tanned leather. I am going to be saddle stitching and keeping the wallets pretty clean and simple - no embellishments etc. The tools is the most confusing aspect, since I can't decide how many sizes of what I would require to start initially. I feel like what I have below will be a good start - comments appreciated.
Thank you!
Nate
