SO fabulous!!! Thanks so much for sharing that! The first one is a bit of a throw back to older style but with the learning -- Leather doesn't do what fabric does but I'm hell bent on continuing to make long lived creatures with it regardless--

Hello members, When you work for film or have people who require a real rush is there a standard premium you use? We are lucky to be working with some film studios again this spring. They always have a super fast turn around for when a product has to be ready. Usually its just a couple of days to pull off samples, examples, then multiple finished products. This time is was samples of artwork, followed by it in leather, then four fronts for all leather hats. There will likely be a fully "tooled" hat required by tuesday after they pick from the sample fronts tomorrow. Thanks for any input you have.

We developed a pigment branding process a couple years ago, this and other you will see are tattoo designs from Quyen Dinh who has agreed to allow her work to be used for a run of monsters:)

Good morning this fine day. I have been lurking around my BF's studio since last August. He does incredible custom work at Creative MayheM. I came into some softer leather pieces and wanting to hang out with him as well as get some fun product ready for our Culture Crawl this coming november..Leather Monsters was born. He has been working with me and teaching me the many differences between leather as a textile vests fabric. Monsters are something I have always enjoyed making and am really working hard to excel with this new medium/textile. I hope you enjoy these guys as much as we do.. Looking forward to gleaning new techniques and ideas from here. There are a bunch of monsters in my gallery but I am not talented enough to link them into this yet-- so here's a repeat of one of my recent faves--
