My wife just bought one of these for her business (sewing garments). Can this machine be used for leather? If so, how heavy? I'm mostly looking to make holsters and other small items at this point.

Not much, compared to the work some of you do, but everybody's got to start somewhere. Here's the magazine carrier I made for my Kahr CM9 spare mag. It's made of pigskin that I dyed myself, and glued up with E6000 contact cement. It is made to ride inside my jeans back pocket.
