Hi Veg leather burns or gets damaged over 78 deg c . So warm water like bath water temp. Can be used. As for drying leave it in the sun, or close to not on a heater to dry, remember it is SKIN.What can burn you can burn leather.Another thing, it is full of tanning acids so DO NOT leave your blued gun near or in it, it will rust quick and make the leather discolor.
