Hi I have just got a second hand Pfaff 335 and the walking feet don't seem to be quite square with the feed plate/end of the cylinder arm. Which is making the needle hole in the walking foot touch the needle and splitting the thread.
I have taken the feet off to see if I could twist them to sit straighter & you can do this with the front foot to screw into place at desired angle, but the rear foot has a straight plate that fixes into the metal drive pillar at the back and can only go in at a set angle.... my question is can I release this back drive pole/pillar that runs up and through the machine, with any screw/adjustment somewhere to realign the foot at the base?
Many thanks for any help ... am just hoping I haven't spent what little cash I have & got a dodgy machine .
